DELIVERY SERVICES FOR HOMEBOUND RESIDENTS

East Providence Public Library is pleased to offer home delivery services for our patrons who are temporarily or permanently homebound due to illness or injury. All patrons enrolled in this service will have a library staff member deliver library materials (including books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, etc.) once per month.

This service is open to East Providence residents with a valid library card who are unable to drive (or otherwise transport themselves) to one of our branches to pick up materials or arrange for someone else to pick up items on their behalf.

Accessing this service requires annual enrollment, and is available on a first come, first serve basis; simply fill out the form below each year. Even when enrollment is full, you can still fill out this form and we will add you to the wait list.

Please note that East Providence Public Library reserves the right to reject an application for, or end at any time during use of, home delivery service for any patron who does not, or ceases to, meet our criteria for eligibility, or who violates our patron conduct policy when interacting with library staff. This service is free, but you are responsible for the cost of replacing lost or damaged items.

If you have any questions regarding home delivery services, please call Lisa Perry, Head of Reference Services, at 401-434-2453 ext. 17021.
