2026 ALL AGES SUMMER LEARNING CHALLENGE AT EAST PROVIDENCE PUBLIC LIBRARY

WHO: All ages, 0-100+!
WHAT: A challenge to read and complete activities this summer to earn points and win prizes! Books, graphic novels, audiobooks, and magazines all count. You can also attend library programs to earn points. Collect a prize for every 10 points you get.
WHEN: Register online or pick up (or download here) summer tracking logs starting Monday, June 15th, and claim prizes until Saturday, August 22nd.
WHERE: Pick up tracking logs, attend programs, and claim prizes at all three locations - Weaver Library, Riverside Branch Library, and Fuller Creative Learning Center!
WHY: Because summer is a time to learn and have fun! Check out all the cool events happening at the library this summer, including a summer concert series!

Find the Good Egg or the Bad Seed at libraries around Rhode Island for a chance to win a prize!
Children of a
ll ages are invited to join the Rhode Island Statewide Scavenger Hunt this summer to celebrate the Summer Reading Program, Plant a Seed, Read. Pick up a passport at any participating library, then spend June 22 through August 22 visiting libraries across the state. At each stop, look for our summer mascots the Good Egg and Bad Seed and get your passport stamped.
Every visit to a library brings an unexpected adventure AND brings you closer to prizes. After five library visits, you’ll earn an entry into a raffle for a large Good Egg/Bad Seed plushie. Share a photo of a library visit with the RI Center for the Book after five visits and you’ll also receive a special surprise prize. Keep going for more chances to win: ten visits earns a second raffle entry, fifteen a third, twenty a fourth, and twenty-five a fifth entry plus an additional prize from the RI Center for the Book.
